In June 2024, TD Orchestra visited Tokyo as well as Yamanashi and Nagano Prefectures, to perform with local musicians and connect with communities. While in Japan, TD Orchestra members performed in Shibuya (central Tokyo) and Hokuto (Yamanashi Prefecture), engaged in a jam session with Japanese musicians in Muza Symphony Hall in Kawasaki, and attended a local cultural event in Kamisuwa (Nagano Prefecture). Furthermore, TD Orchestra shot more footage in Tokyo for an upcoming film, scenes for which began being shot during our March 2024 tour to Germany and the Czech Republic.

 

TD Orchestra's June tour to Japan has started collaborations with the musicians they met and played with, as well as discussions of collaborations and partnerships outside of music with schools in Japan and Japanese corporate companies. Collaborations and partnerships with corporate companies may take the form of sponsorships, or having TD members work or host workshops at their company in the future.
