Brazil

Following TD Orchestra's visit to Brazil in January 2025, the orchestra is collaborating with EducationUSA and Santa Marcelina Cultura for future tours to Brazil, with projects and partnerships in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Manaus, Curitiba, and more. These projects, partnerships and tours are part of a larger South America initiative encompassing most other countries on the continent, including Argentina, Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador and Colombia, which was fueled by TD Orchestra's South America tour to many of these locations in January 2025.

Another avenue of possible collaboration is via the Flutopia Initiative, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the United States that fundraises for charities. A family connection between TD Orchestra and the Flutopia Initiative has led to some discussions about activities during TD Orchestra's future tours in South America, as some of the orchestra members have existing connections through their research or work that would contribute to the orchestra starting long-term interdisciplinary collaborations and projects throughout the continent, as well as having joint concerts with local artists.
