In June 2023, TD Orchestra began its first music school in Botswana. The music school is free of charge to the local community; its current focus is on reading sheet music and basic music theory lessons, with the idea of offering instrumental lessons in the near future.

In the spring of 2024, TD Orchestra established a Botswana-based satellite nonprofit organization, which will continue to partner with other Botswana-based organizations to establish permanent primary and secondary TD Orchestra schools nationwide.
